Fleas - Indoor and Outdoor

We have always (about 20 yrs) used Basic H, now Basic H2 to kill bugs, fleas, what ever... both outside and inside. I have sheep working dogs and before S****** would get fleas. I will NOT have fleas... my dogs are inside with me at all times and because I am the sole farm-animal person, they are extremely important to me.... "my lifeline."

Spray the lawn (grass) outside with Basic H2 in hose attachment... lots of formulas on Team 21.

Inside I just use the cleaner-formula spray bottle... If I think I notice any fleas, I grab the bottle and spray down floor, carpet, couch, whatever... make sure to get corners, entrance ways both inside and out. Don't forget vehicle even if dogs don't get in there... fleas can "take a ride" with you as you walk to vehicle.

Shampoo dogs with Basic H2...

I do wash their bedding every day... have old blankets, pads, even soft saddle blanket found at thrift store, works great and easy to wash. Every morning, grab bedding from cages, spray down inside, add new bedding, throw old bedding into wash machine... Clean, smells good, no bugs, no mud which we can have alot of in rural, rural Portland, OR area.

I would never use flea collars or the flea stuff you put on animals... why poison them? They're too important to me... my dogs live long lives... said goodbye to my Paco (small Kelpie Australian Sheep Dog) this January after 17 years and he was 3 yrs old when rescued him. He saved me from getting hurt soo many times and thought it was fun to save me millions of steps working with the animals. Shaklee really helped him.. especially the pain products... you would have never known he was that old except for his face turning white. He was active, full of mischief until the last couple weeks. Last few months couldn't hear very well... but sometimes I think it was selective hearing loss!

Also, my Jody cat, lived 21 yrs, 8 mon. And was same way... Full of life until last two weeks... Thank you S******.

So guess I'm saying... if your animals are important to you... keep bad things away from them and let S****** help keep them healthy. Then they can give you so many more years of loyalty.
